I am getting my 09 double cab in 4 weeks or so, and I have already gotten a tonneau cover for it. Anyway I am thinking about side steps I have been looking at the Toyota ones on http://www.toyotapartsoutlet.com/MC-DDGI-DF.aspx they are going to be about 350 with shipping. What have other people got? Can I get the Toyota ones for cheaper? Let me know what you have and if you have pics that would be great.

I've been shopping around for a while trying to find what I like best....and I think the Toyota running boards are the best I've seen that I like.
    They're $219, that's not bad at all.

However, I was hoping to see pictures of one on my color truck. I also wonder if the double cab version would fit on an access cab and reach back to the wheel wells. I wanna be able to step on these things and wash the backside of my cab windows with them.

Have you contacted your local Toyota dealer? How much are they locally?
    (instead of paying shipping/taxes etc)

I had an order in to Toyotapartsoutlet for the DC silver steps, however they were back ordered. They weren't sure how long they would take to come in, so they refunded my money.
I have been looking elsewhere, but the same steps would be $70 more. Now I'm un-decided.

If you want it quicker, just call up your local Toyota dealer and ask to talk to a part manager. Negotiate with him that you find this part (give part#) for this price and wonder if he can match it. If he can't well take your business elsewhere. I got a couple of things that way.

I think running board shouldn't be on a Taco.
