here is something you can try... disconnect your positive and negative cables from the battery and connect them together making sure they are not touching the battery terminals. keep them connected for about 5-10 minutes. that will drain and reset all electronic in the vehicle. most of the time that solves weird electrical bugs unless its a serious problem. hope it helps

Hey guys I have fixed this problem by doing a few reboots.. it did nothing but I notice this icon at the top of the screen with a phone with a red line over it. if you tap on this phone icon it pulls up all the phones that have been previously connected. you have to delete one because you can have more than 5 devices paired. this fixed everything no more grayed out phone and bluetooth in settings hope this helps guys.

Thank you for the follow up. I am running an old IOS firmware on my iPhone and iPod touch due to a jailbreak on my devices. I will make sure I don't end up disabling my stereo due to my old firmware on iOS. Thanks

Hey toyotakurtis I don't think iPhones will mess it up. just make sure you dont pair 5 devices with it and it shouldnt be a problem.
