Has anyone installed these with a Diamondback truck cover? I read the clearance spec on the website (63" between brackets and 6" vertical height from the bed rail), so I think they *should* work, but it would be great to see a pic or two with the Diamondback? Thanks!

Curious as well. Maybe @Mobtown Offroad can comment. Of course, the cover can't be opened with the bed bars installed. I've been thinking of getting a Diamondback, and was planning to drill and mount cross bars on top to solve that issue.

Id really need to see this cover mounted on the truck from the underside, specifically how they are bolted on to the truck.

    Hi Joe!

Here are some pics of how they mount. Basically there are 3 pieces: The front panel, the center cross brace and the rear panel. The front panel has metal rods that insert into the stock bed rail itself at the very front. The center cross brace has two clamps per side that clamp the center brace to the bed rail. And the rear panel requires an "extension" that screws into the rear-most part of the stock bed rail and allow those metal rods to lock down. Hopefully the pics explain what I'm talking about, but essentially, the very front most part of the bed rail....the center part of the bed rail....and the rear most part of the bed rail are being used by this cover:

May I use these pictures for our website? Could you take a few more further back showing the rack on the truck?

I would have loved to mount these instead of my Yakima crossbars, but they wouldn't work for my needs.

Of course! The bed bars are off at the moment (I need access to the bed when I'm not off-reading/camping) but I'm putting them back on in a month for another camping trip. I'll snap some pics then.

Hypothetically speaking.....if someone was a dumbass and used an impact wrench to secure the brackets to the bed rails......and then stripped the screw heads trying to remove said screws......what size bolt and thread pitch would they need to buy to replace those bolts? Hypothetically that is?

Do you know does the diamond cover add any height clearance inside the bed compared to the oem tonneua cover? From the pics here and on the mfr sight I can't quite tell. I'm hoping to gain some clearance to use a slide in the bed for easier access if I get these bars, but my cooler just clears beneath the factory cover... Looks like it's possible this design adds a couple inches above bed rail but not sure.

No, it doesn't add any height clearance on the inside. There are cross members that are even with the top of the bed rails. You can stuff some small stuff in between the cross members, but that's about it. This video shows what I'm talking about at the 13:30 minute mark:

I've wondered the same (I have a Diamondback cover), so I measured the useable height. . .it's 18" by my measurements. I do have a BedRug, so there may be about 1/2" wiggle room.

Anyone try these with a Truxedo Titanium (titanium roll-up tonneau - bed-rail mounted)?

No, they are not. Also, negative to the second question.
