    Hello all,
I'm looking for a (shareable...PM's welcome) recommendation for a place to camp this weekend.
I had been planning to head out to Stanislaus to do Coulterville road, but after a call with the ranger station almost all unpaved roads are still closed until 4/15.

Would anybody be willing to share a recommendation for a place to go out this weekend?
I'm specifically looking for national forest, non wilderness areas so we can mix in a little pewpew. Of course, we always leave the place cleaner than we found it.

Ideally, i'd like to do something backcountry rather than established campgrounds. Really want to head up to Sawmill/Bowman, but it's a little far for an overnighter.

    Any advice appreciated,
    Thanks!~

What awning is that? I've been looking for a pole less 270 degree but haven't heard much feedback on them.

Weather looks similar to when I was there! Started raining at night and was overcast in the morning.

I joked that the site had the perfect amount of cell reception - enough you could get emails/messages and respond but not enough that you could really surf the web or do anything else.
