    Hey Guys

Sorry for being MIA so long, busy with work, family, deployments and shit. So now that I have some down time out here I figured I'd post some of my updates from over the winter. Finally got my ditch lights and behind the grille bar on, all thanks to the CaliRaised brackets and their support. I already had the light bar that I had got as a gift (OPT7 off Amazon) and the bolts were too big for the brackets so I had to bore out the holes on the brackets which was no big deal.I also used the AUXBeam led cubes with side projecting leds as well which work awesome. Both sets turned out awesome in my opinion. Put a bug deflector on the hood and not pictured but also put the in channel window vent visors in. Also a big shout out to everyone's favorite vinyl graphics guy @rrentrop for the side TACOMA with mtn decals and the awesome license plate frames, the red turned out perfect on the back of my BBP! Glad I finally got a little snow at home to go play in! Oh and also got my new custom plates which are pretty special to me. Can't wait to get home for spring to go play with the windows down and sunroof open and music jammin! Oh and also the side view shot is just from driving down my driveway, God the country's the only place to live!

Added the other set of Hikari Philips Lumileds to the High Beams and a very nice long soothing wash and dry.

First a pic of my clean Inferno Taco

    Inferno_Ash_01.jpg

    Now the lighting Mod.

First pic is no lights so you have a frame of reference. Just so you know how dark it is up at the house. Even with a full moon.

    no_lights.jpg

Second pic is just the Morimoto XB Fogs I recently installed. (got a crazy good deal and couldn't pass it up) Might have to adjust them a little more as to me they look a little low. The base of the second tree on the right is approximately 60' away.

    fog.jpg

This next pic is the Fogs and the OEM DRLs. They really do a great job of supplementing the fogs.

    fog_drl.jpg

This 4th pic is the Fogs, and the Low Beams, No DRLs. I think I need to adjust the low beams up a tad. The DRLs do add some light.

    fog_drl_low.jpg

This is the money shot. DRLs, Lows and newly installed High Beams on. Wow.

    fogs_drls_lows_highs.jpg

Not bad for $227.00 (after I sold my OEM fogs for $65). I am completely satisfied and up here in the country with our large deer population I feel much safer.

I also installed Hikari License Plate Bulbs last weekend.

    20180323_204642.jpg

I have the LED Reverse Bulbs already and that is tomorrow.

Anyone have an idea on what type of weight rating I should have for snatch block? I realized a snatch block and a good tree strap were missing from my truck today.

Is that a Wilson 1000 up there? I got one for Christmas, and I’ve been debating on the install. I’m worried that the antenna will ride too high. how has it treated you for daily use?

Yes, it is a Wilson-1000. Yes, it is tall, but it has great distance range. On the roof, it has a SWR of 1.

How do you like that Roland cutter? I am wanting to upgrade from my cricut cutter to something that can handle the finer details. I just don't know if I want to jump all the way up to a GS-24 for something I won't use all of the time.

Once it warms up today I'm gonna add a pair of flags to my truck. Been seeing them on many trucks locally and like the look. Army base in town has us well supplied with patriots.

This pic taken shortly after Lowe's ran their last sale.

I'm down to less than 4 bags now. Scary low.......

You think that's a lot...I have a buddy who orders lump charcoal by the pallet.

Added some Tyger Star Armor for door protection on my 2017. Quick and easy with jack stands. 40 mins from box opening to completion.

Easier to install than I would have expected. The gap between the headlight and grill was the perfect shape for my arm.

I have had my Redline Elite for prob 15 months and they are great. Toyota should have included struts. I know my Sport hood got heavier every time I lifted it. I show those off all the time.

Yea, I said I would never need them but they are definitely on my to do list. Seems like a great price on Amazon. Don't they make different models though? An Elite or something? Wonder what the difference is. I like the black ones though.

I have a Roland STX-8 that is at least 15 years old. It still works great. I just used it to make shirts for my son’s college comedy club. I can’t comment about the new models.
