So the stock tailgate on my ‘07 is beginning to rust. Wondering if there are any aftermarket gates available that don’t require color matched painting. Anyone have any info?

so you want a 3rd part tailgate to fit your truck that's already painted to match, including 10 years of fade?

Wrecking yards in Oregon want $500 or more for a dented complete tailgate. A new OEM shell is about $400. I have pretty much given up hope of finding a really nice reasonably priced used tailgate.

I’m more interested in a (black) poly material than steel. I could replace the stock tailgate with a net, but I sometimes haul a dirt bike in the bed and need the gate to support the rear wheel.

Good luck it was a total pain in the ass trying to find a decent one for my 97 F-150 and they wanted 400+ for a dented one

you could do a tiregate, but those are just as expensive.
