Gah! And yet, totally plausible considering the "for looks" models and euro offerings along with the one world concentration. Go figure.

On top of that, it has nothing to do with 3rd gen Tacomas.

OP's story is fake, but I think the one I read about the Frontcoma is true. I guess Nissan and Toyota are ditching their respective mid sized truck models to create a joint venture and produce the Frontcoma. Comes in a V8 and diesel with optional T-roof.

I actually did read it... but I will admit, I got sloppy when hit with all the fuzzy talk and the massive photos.. I gave up and made assumptions.

Actually, it's very relevant to the Tacoma. There has been some speculation on diesel for the Tacoma as well as speculation on the influence the new Bronco may have on the Tacoma
lineup. Considering the Colorado already boasts this feature, the prospect actually becomes more plausible.

I'd buy one, the Mercedes E class Diesel that I've driven gets exceptional MPG even at slightly higher than highway speeds.

Even knowing it was a joke, I could totally believe that it might make sense for the euro market.
