    I was wondering if anyone has removed their rear seats and made a sleeping platform inside the cab. I will eventually get a topper, but in the mean time I need something for a quick cross country trip.

    I could be wrong but I feel like it might be too small? Even if you removed the passenger seat, the cab is relatively short. Seems woefully uncomfortable. Maybe try one of those tents that you can set up in the bed of the truck?

    Some would say the seat itself is technically a platform...

    Otherwise, I think Sears might still be making these roof top tents that you mount to the ground. Not sure what you're willing to spend on this though, because these will run you like 30 bucks give or take.
