The best wheeling happens while drunk. Most of the times, the truck is more capable than the driver. So liquid encouragement helps the driver push the truck harder. Always a good time

Except. No drunk night wheeling. 3 diamond trails become 5 I swear lol. It's not worth it.

Orrrr just ride with a buddy and let them tear up their rig lol

Fucking retweet. I hope not to break shit this year. Our camp really racked up some damage and most of it was accomplished Thursday before half the people even got there!

    If I'm on a 5 it's probably because I'm lost.

For some the main road may become a 5 diamond. :anonymous::bananadead:
It wont be hard to find his truck. Just drive around the camps and you'll see it parked lookin pretty. The man, the myth, the legend himself may be harder to find when hes out riding shotgun on the trails.

See. You don't actually ride on a 5. It's just when you're drunk and it's dark, the 3 becomes a 5 just on your own disability lmao.

I have done a few 5s. Always makes for a good time and pictures

Yeah I have a feeling I'll be tackling some harder trails I havent been on yet at jambo or maybe this weekend. I've started getting a little bored on my usual 2-3(.5) diamonds at BMRA. Not sure my little 265's will be up to the task though...

Keep talking shit and I'll make you fake jello shots!

I'll probably night wheel if we do like last year and basically stick to trails we ran during the day so we know what we are up against. I'm not trying to pull a David and be roasting marshmallows on my Runner.

All I can really say is find a spotter you trust. Like on a real level. Cause that makes all the difference. I talk a lot of shit but it's something people don't take seriously and then they flop on a level 2-3.
A good spotter can get a amateur wheeler down most 3s and 4s.

Don't trust a drunk spotter or a dude you don't really know.

It's fun crawling and being a badass in front of people but remember that body damage is mostly avoidable at gilmer.

This is definitely true. I did some higher level trails than I ever had one of the last times I was at HF with good spotters and that was on my baby tires.

I feel you on that. Night wheeling I usually stick to 2's and 3's I know from earlier in the day or at least the same trip. I dont trust trails from previous trips since the trails can change so much in a short amount of time. Sulihull is only like a 2 and becoming harder from all the rutting and wash with all the rain we've had. Its not much harder but the main climb isnt as easy to get up as it was a year ago.

I'll have two extinguishers this time, and I'm still suggesting everyone else get at least one.
