Thanks @oscolivar1 and @ecgreen. I am certainly not trying to rush into this. As I have mentioned in other posts I have found that the added weight from gear certainly affects driving on tame fire roads and highway. So definitely a little concerned for off-roading with weight. But we will see.

@StainlessSteelRatt any suggestions for what to look for as I’m out playing to help inform my decisions for what is needed? What are the questions/metrics/feelings that I should be attuned to as I’m going?

@StainlessSteelRatt inforgot to ask about your research into difressibe vs progressive shocks. Where does each one shine and what lead you to go with the icons?

You'd think deciding on a lift would be easy, but it's really not, there are SO many options! In the end though, I think it all boils down to personal preference and how much you're willing to spend.

For me, each component of my lift (shocks, coils/springs, UCAs) was a separate decision. I took almost a year (off and on) researching what I thought I'd want in a lift. That time spent was worth it, I'm really happy with what I got, and I feel it fits my needs well.

The best recommendation I can come up with is, drive it how you're going to drive it for a while. Wheel it if you can, decide where the shortcomings are that you'd like to change. Then talk to the folks who can get you what you want.

A lot of people here like Marie at Headstrong Offroad and have used her for advice. I talked to the great folks at Demello Offroad, and also got some incredible help at Slee Offroad - they're the guys that did my installation.

EDIT: I really don't know all that much about lifts in general.
