Hey fellas, I just went to install my center cap provided with FN BFDs and the cap doesn't fit over the plastic centric to keep the rim flush to the hub. Not sure what gives?? Is the plastic ring not needed with the center cap? Anyone use the center cap that provide some feedback?? :confused:o_O:facepalm:

The plastic ring is to be used only if you don't use the center cap.

Can you still make the flat caps everyone here has been requesting? I can send you a cap or set of caps.

I have 2 sets of FN wheels that I’d love caps for as well. Shit, I’ll even give the guy 150 just to jumpstart the project.

I’m in as well because this is a must since the rims are incredible, but the cap is from the 70’s! Not that 70’s were bad or anything, but come on Man, this cap looks like it belongs on a Big Rig.. lol

I’d pitch in to fund . My front passenger side got damaged and I really would rather get better looking center caps!! If not decal it is over the cap.

Wanted to revive this post from the dead.. what were the solutions? I'm running no center cap right now. And while I like the look the center cap is rusty

Spray paint the hub. Crude but effective.

So if someone can do this I'd be very interested to hear how... I have buds and was going to try doing the flush try cap mod, but the fronts have the dust caps for the hubs.. flush caps would be impossible so they would have to be raised up off the dust cap.. maybe 1/2-3/4" off..

Hint: if you use Bora wheel spacers, the TRD flat center cap will snap into the wheel spacer when you remove some of the tabs. Then get whatever decal made (or paint) to overlay onto the flat center cap. TRD center cap PTR18-35092 (I think).

I did this to two sets of wheels. FN Countersteers and SSR wheels.

Yes, I'm running the SSR Auswuch (with my center cap mod) now and sold the Countersteers.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned import equipment yet. They sell TRD decals for these wheels. I used the outer ring to center up the decal and removed the ring afterwards 20181011_163002.jpg 20180718_180210.jpg

Did get that BBK from SOS? If so, how are you liking them? I'm looking at Wilwoods right now since they use a 2 piece rotor.
