Going to beat a dead horse, 16x8 or 17x8.5?

    Yeah, I've searched and read multiple threads but still am undecided.

    16"s would be cheaper wheels/tires and ~.5" more side wall, but apparently from what I've read people seem to say that 16"s are a dieing breed and 17" are more popular now with more tire options.

    I will most likely be running a 265/75r16 or 70r17 and daily driving with maybe 1-2 off-road trips a year.

    Given my usage what would you suggest?

    All depends on what you want to do. Seeing as you have a 2018 you can fit larger tires with less modifications if you wanted to go bigger in the future that being the case I would definitely go with the wider Wheels regardless of what diameter so typically 17 is going to be most common yes.
