The paint on my 3rd gen is starting to take some damage from the trails so I've been on the hunt for a simple and cost effective solution. I was considering a vinyl wrap but its pretty expensive to have it done professionally and I lack the confidence to do it myself. SO in my research I ran across this product from Oracal:

    https://www.orafol.com/gp/americas/...t-details/items/oraguard-280-stone-guard-film

Has anyone ever used this? If so, how long have you had it on and how well does it protect against common trail damage?

I have applied a few various Oracal products. But the key takeaways from that spec sheet are:

    Thickness 8 mil
    Adhesive Clear, solvent-based, permanent adhesive
Application Use on flat and slightly curved surfaces.

This is likely similar to the rockerguard they already use on the truck, just not textured.
With that thick a density it won't flex curves very well and the adhesion looks step based and well, permanent.
Personally, I'd go with something else.
