First mod I would like to do is get bigger tires. Planning on lifting my truck in the future and getting fn wheels. But don't want to spend double the money on tires. Plan is I want to run 285/70/17. And transfer them over when I get my rims in. Will it fit with my stock suspension and stock wheels?
    Thanks!

Hi. Welcome to TW. The search function is your friend, whether here in the forum or googling something like "tacomaworld 2017 tacoma biggest tires"

Good luck and have fun with your truck.

Things. Stuff. Lots of bad decisions.
    Mostly Zip-Ties
    285’s, no rubbing. No promises.

But seriously, 255/85r16 are 33 and will not rub from what I understand. They’re also a phenomenal size for our light trucks

265/70s with the sport 17” wheel. The stock wheels sit too far in the wheel well so you’re going to get rubbing. I have aftermaret 17” RAce Relations Wheels and they sit further out and almostrubeith 265/70s.
