12v Accessories Added And Controlled With Ease!

As I started my Tacoma build I wan't sure how many 12v accessories I would be adding. I looked at the dash and saw come oem placements I could add rocker switches and dead space I would be able to drill in my own panel if needed.

I looked online for a Tacoma specific solution to not only keep the switch panel clean and easy and simplify adding various accessories without always having to add a new switch, fuses and run more wires through my firewall. When I have built Jeeps I have used SPOD overhead switches for the easiest solution and even run a bunch of wires at once from the engine bay to the a-pillar with 4 switches.

While digging through Amazon I came across the Blazer C3050k Wireless Management System and for $50 it claims:

• Ability to run up to 8+ lights (2 each at 20 Amp, 5 Amp, 3.5 Amp and 1.5 Amp)
• Up to 100 ft. wireless remote control range
• Easy installation- no drilling through firewall or dashboard
• 12 V A23 battery included with the remote
• Powerful enough to run two 50" light bars at the same time

I ordered one, wired it up in a few minutes and so far am impressed. I mounted it right on top of the fuse box lid. Connected the positive to the battery and ground to the ground location on the side of the engine bay. For the remote, I removed the visor clip, put a strip of 3m VHT tape on the back and stuck it to my dash as shown below.

So far it powers an LED pod on either side of my hitch. This week I will be adding bed lights, ditch lights and a front bumper light bar. Plenty of empty locations left for adding more accessories! Install of new accessories is crazy easy running one power wire to the new accessory and then grounding that accessory at the mounting location.

Worth checking if you want cheap, easy and convenient!

Awesome. If I have this right: install on top of fuse box, connect pos to battery and ground to ground, attach wires from light bar (etc) to unit and use remote to switch off and on? Absolutely no need to go through fire wall and no need for rocker panels/switches? Most time would be spent running wires from the light bar/Pods under the truck to the engine bay to the unit?
