Clean your work area and prepare tools before you begin.
    Take your time.
Take pictures and notes as you go for reference.
Take a break when you are frustrated.
    Check your work.

Excellent advice. I installed my lift a few weeks ago and I had very little experience. Give yourself all day. An extra set of hands helps. I made sure I had all the tools needed for the job before I began. If you are taking tie rods apart, make sure you have extra castle nuts. Torque everything down.

Everything went really easy and smooth. I think ajmogen put it best.

I would also do yourself a favor and spray any bolts you are going to take apart with PB Blaster the night before. If you take your time and pay attention and watch a lot of Youtube videos it will be easy . And unless you have something to compress the springs maybe spend an extra $100 to the assembled for you.

Did you get the tacoma lean spacer as well? On my truck with 886 springs the drivers side was the hardest to put in if i remember correctly.

Nice! How do you like the ride quality? Are those 265 75 16's?

Ride quality is decent. You definitely lose some smoothness when lifting, but as long as you keep the Billy's at 0 or .85 or stays tolerable.

I also forgot to mention I have the HS 3 AAL in the rear.

Good to know...I know this is a repetitive question on TW but do you have any rub with the tire size? Or did you trim anything? I noticed you took off the mud guards.

Yea mud guards and some very minor plastic trimming. I have not had a problem with the body mount yet.

Any recommendations/tips on installing the 3 AAL? That seems like it would be the most difficult part of the build. I am looking to purchase the same kit.

It was honestly super easy, make sure you have c-clamps, and grease. While you have the old leafs free its always good to grease them while you can. the c-clamps are to keep the old leafs together, because once you remove the u-bolts and bump stop they are kinda just hanging there. at least that how I did mine, not sure if there is a better way to get them done.

Turned out great, I did essentially the same lift with different coils. Looks like a completely different truck tho, nice work
