Been busy!

Added the MESOJDM Ultimate Turn Signals (love me some sloppy seconds):

It's hard to tell in my pics below, but I installed the Rockblox mud flaps. I also added Morimoto LED fogs and the newer Hikari LEDs in the low beams:

Here's the OEM fog still in on the left compared to the Morimoto on the right:

I plan on getting the SR5 fog trim pieces and also blacking out the Tacoma badge ASAP.

Also changed the hole that the gas cap was connected to (provides more slack to hang it this way):




Last thing I really want is the TRD PRO tail lights and I'll be finished with cosmetic upgrades (for now)...wheels/suspension won't be anytime soon since I'm moving and buying a new house this year.

How do you like the in bed tire rack? It always seemed like a lot of effort to haul the tire up into the bed vs dropping it from below. Is yours too big for underneath?

Yeah. I have a Nitto Trail Grappler LT295/70R17 as my spare but since I purchased my truck, I had the plan of mounting it in the bed of my truck regardless. It’s actually not that big of a deal. Throw it up there and strap/lock it in place. Good to go!

Took the curved back off the center console
Drilled the three holes and mounted the YakAttack GearTrac (did have to put in a couple rubber washers on the two end screws between the console and the trac because of the rounded shape of the console. Tight fit up under the console to get the nuts on the screws.

So I will be taking a dremel to the veins under the console to make the backing plate fit better and use longer screws (currently I do not have the backing plate on mine but will be adding it).

 

c4 bumper and light bar and winch last week, Baja fogs this week, front end complete now.
