Well I got my suspension done yesterday and went for a test drive. I haven’t aligned it yet. 2” OME with heavy coils and heavy leaf packs.

No diff drop, no cb drop. ECGS bushing installed. No shims. I measured driveline angles before but haven’t measured them yet after the lift.

I should have thrown my stock tires back on to test drive so I could tell if there were any different sounds etc. but didn’t think of it until after I’d already put the new tires on which are 255/85/16 discoverer st. There is definitely a new sound but I can’t tell if it’s from the tires or not.

There aren’t really any vibrations that I can feel, just new noises. Again, it could be the tires. It’s been many years since I’ve driven on anything but a street tire.

Any ideas on how to narrow this down? I’m going out in a bit to test drive in 4WD to see if it changes in case ECGS bushing didn’t help. And maybe I could jack the rear axle off the ground and let the wheels turn in the air to eliminate tire noise, in case it’s the rear drive shaft...

Sorry I realize I’m just thinking out loud here but any thoughts to help are appreciated. I don’t get much time to focus on this stuff being a family man and all that that entails...

I would highly recommend a diff drop
