Sounds like you have a fault in your braking system.

I just replaced my rear brakes 6 months ago. My front brakes didn't need replaced my scanner showed my brake light switch needs replaced I did that . But the anti skid and abs light still stays on. I still don't have a clue I don't know if it hurts anything for the ant skid light stays on. I have all new tires from a year ago. Replaced one tire sensor. Not sure why those lights are on

    Try re-calibrating your traction control.

Okay, I'll have to figure out how to recalibrate. Well today since I sometimes don't have brake lights I replaced my brake light switch. I tested it it was only intermittently working so I went ahead and purchased a new lifetime warranty switch from oreillys put it on and guess what. The brake lights stay on continuosly whether I press the button or not. Man I'm really frustrated Now, I'm starting to wonder if I don't have wiring problems. It should go on and off when I push the button on the switch bought this 09 used from a dealership 2 yrs ago. No warranty guess I can check and see if oreillys sold me a bad switch but I doubt it I noticed the switch I removed was missing the nut I'm assuming should've been on there so I'm thinking the previous owner had trouble. I've also had trouble with my headlights burning out every 6 months I've replaced 3 times in the past year and half starting to wonder about this Toyota now
