I like the wider stance and I’m gonna try and see if it’ll be ok with my 1.25” spacers! I ordered them but they aren’t in yet. I’ll post picks as soon as they are installed. :D

Finally got my KO2’s in and installed! Love it! So far so good and I love the stance. I’m very happy I could leave the spacers on and they didn’t stick out too much! Fills up the fender well very nicely! :DCB15E992-1CCD-49BD-8AAB-B322E4B7BCA1.jpg7D40E30E-53E8-4C1C-AB49-4CFD84467D7E.jpg 287539AD-42B9-48B6-8C09-418BAA7C36D5.jpg

But nothing a heat gun and a dremel couldn’t fix....if you think they look big here...check this one out0D33EDE0-7434-40EA-B462-9D4345C186EF.jpg1015498A-5933-41A7-B3E2-4BE62B8275F3.jpg

I have a question. So yall hear me out. If your going with 235 and not going bigger (that's all I have) why would you put taller suspension on your truck. Other than weight carrying of course. The camel trophy rigs ran 7.50x16s, which are very close to the modern 235 85 16 I think, I and they did some downright stupid stuff if watch the videos, but there was lots of winching too. But if you lift it, is it detrimental if you don't need the lift? Or does the added traction from added flex help more than the higher cg takes away?

I can only partially comment here, I haven’t lifted my truck and would only do it in an effort to make the truck smoother with “expedition weight”. I had a lifted Xterra for a while and while it was awesome it had a lot of drawbacks...it was a 3 in suspension and a 2 in body lift, and it was put on in order to make room for 33in tires...the problem with so much lift was the wear and tear...did ball joints several time, cv boots, power steering pump (big tires) and a bunch of other stuff...the lift let me put the big tires and have me great approach and departure angles as well as a lot more flex. With the tacoma I want something reliable so the only stuff I’d do would be as little lift as possible in an effort to improve the suspension setup..true ground Clearence is achived through bigger tires and not lift. Not sure if that’s answers your questions but it’s my two cents to lifting a truck..BF0EA448-69B4-4ECF-B6D6-E52B8325736B.jpg

Did you have to add spacers? No issues with the calipers? I was under the impression the 16's didn't fit around the calipers.

    Looks awesome!

2nd gens come with 16 inch wheels, so I am not sure what your talking about. There is a tundra brake swap the requires 17s though.

Sorry, I mean the KMC Enduros in 16, I've read on here that they don't clear the calipers. If they do fit, that's awesome. I'll probably look into buying a set.

Nofumardeespaniol.... A little trick I was taught while motorcycling through Latin America. When I cop pulls you over looking for a bribe you just look at him and say "Sorry, no fumar de espaniol?" in the most gringo accent possible. He'll assume communication is a lost cause and just wave you on. Worked every single time. :)

yeah so to answer that question... they do fit. but there is NOT a lot of space...like I can barely fit my fingernail into the gap...and the hub caps i had wouldn't fit...there is a little plastic "spacer" ring that goes onto the hub to seat the wheel right and that fit...I was worried I would get rubbing on the caliper but I don't....Ill have to post a picture...my calipers are a bit rusty on top so I would have seen it by now but so far all rust is intact :) only reason i went with these wheels is cause I got em cheap of off CL...they were alloy and I wanted to offset the weight the new tires would have
