700lb springs will be plenty fine with that. They could handle a full steel front + winch

Well, my amp quit working on the way home and while troubleshooting it I opened up the hood to find this. I’m pretty much thinking I need a new battery at this point, but could my amp be causing any of this? It was working fine for years until now. Also, anyone know how to get that stuff off the battery terminal?

Baking soda and water along with a small scrub brush. That will neutralize the acid and bubble it right off.

Then disconnect the terminals and wire brush them and the battery post. Reinstall and treat them with a battery corrosion inhibitor.

It is caused from out gassing of the battery around the terminal. I have found the treated disk that goes around the terminals to help in keeping this at bay. One red and one green.

It looks like you will need to cut back that add on cable and replace the terminal due to the acid eating away at it.

So I won’t need a new battery? I’ll be fine if I just treat it? That would be great news if I won’t have to replace the battery

I really don't get the squat at all. Not only does it make cresting hills difficult but what happens when you load a bag of gravel in your bed at lowes? You're stuck rubbing tires

There is a Cherokee around here that is bagged so far down in the back that it almost hits the ground. Nose way up in the air. Spacers on it so wide that the wheels and tires clear the sides of the vehicle completely. It looks absolutely ridiculous, but the driver, to see him, absolutely thinks he's the pimp's pimp. I wish I had a picture of it to show the internet.

So i will be taking off these old leafpacks this weekend, and they will need a new home.

They are allpro expos. full disclaimer.....They came lightly used to Eddy, he ran on his truck for a little while, and now on my truck for a couple years. (since the Charleston meet at Adams shop)

I feel they have sagged a bit. plus I run a lot of weight, and likely have sag from that as well. They squeak and moan and groan, I think they would benefit from new bushings. I will compare them to my new leafs this weekend for arch height, etc. I think these would be best suited on someones truck that does not run a lot of weight, but wants a lift in the rear. I am guessing here, that they should provide 2.5"-3" lift, on an unloaded truck. I am thinking $150 for the pair. pics this weekend.
