    ...too much shit to list.
I deleted it for you. Regardless of the situation, it's really not a wise idea to boasting on a publicly available website.

Oh man, I'm totally down! I'd like to explore that place a bit more. I've also gone up Westside Rd, after crossing the Dam, up to a super cool plunge pool where you can rock slide off of. There's a whole lot else to see up there though! And I've totally seen your truck parked outside Kobe too. I work up on Shasta St and pass it pretty often and can't help but check it out haha.

My parents, brother and his wife were in town for Easter and my brother has been dying to get some wheeling in, so we hit up the OHV area actually. Went up about a mile or so on Trail 4 to where there's some old mining equipment overlooking the valley to get some nice pictures and then headed back down from there and did Trail 3 to the staging area and hit the water/mud pits and eventually doing some fishing. Here's a few pictures...
As far as we got on Trail 4, with my dad and brother...

    Heading back down Trail 4...

Back on Trail 3, bypassing a bridge for a small water crossing..

And the trucks chillin, after going full send on the water/mud pits at the staging area below the Dam..

    Some really cool shit
Looks like a fun place. And I like the part about the slide into the deep pool and the fishing. Funny picture here. In the side mirror is someone who seems less than enthused to be off roading, playing on the cel phone.

Lol yeah, nice catch. She was actually pretty enthused. Apparently she was posting some pics onto Insta at that exact moment..

Yeah, my gf doesn’t appear to be the most excited when we’re cruising Fire roads. Start doing donuts in the sand and watch her giggle like a schoolgirl.

Everyone convince me not to sell my taco and buy this. Please don’t buy. It has 20 ton winch, 6 wheel drive . California registration

Not enough to have a build thread.
Buy it, make your taco a strictly offroad rig, and carry it in the bed.

Anyone have any off the grid recommendations for camping up near lake Pillsbury or in that general area? Heading out for our modem camping voyage in the new rig in a few weekends. Found some cool spots along the Eel on the way towards the lake a few years ago just wondering if anyone has some good recommendations. Not looking for serious wheeling, just a nice off the beaten path escape.

Unfortunately, my April weekends are pretty much spoken for. Its a busy month, with my and my wife's birthdays and golf trips with the buddies with April birthdays. I won't be able to join you gentlemen until sometime in May.

Got my baofeng uv-5r and the cd it came with didn't work but I downloaded CHIRP and am in the system. Entered the frequencies but I am trying to enter the tone sq as 88.5 and dtsc code as 23 and dtsc polarity as NN per the excel spread from the link and its not working. I press enter and it erases it....so again I feel like this guy :smash:. If I change the "tone mode" it will auto enter numbers but I cannot add, if I change the "Cross mode" it auto enters but I cannot add. Do we just run them on the Tone -> DTCS with tone at 88.5 and DTCS Rx at 023 and Cross mode at NN? or DTCS - > tone sql at 88.5 and DTCS code at 23 and cross mode at NN. Im assuming the former..

Attached is a photo of what it auto enters and I can't change it or enter other lines. The blue line shows where I switched from Tone Modes to Cross modes and what it auto enters

Forget all that. This is what it should look like for those frequencies.

doesn't that mean you just receive and cannot transmit?

No. To prevent transmitting on a particular channel, duplex would be set to "off". For instance, if you want hear NOAA weather, set it up like this (under no circumstances would you transmit):

SXCALL is a short name for Simplex Calling Frequency

So all you need to do is enter the frequencies? dang that sounds too easy dude...

and whats the sxcall for? is it important that I add it?
