3rd Gen - Need a Leaf sag solution

So, on my 2017 OffRoad, I've installed the 6" BDS Fox 2.5 kit. The stock rear leafs, however, are FLAT. There's zero concave and that doesn't seem normal. I'm measuring < 3" from the bump stop to the frame. Ideally, I would think that there should be a bit more room in there, for suspension travel, etc. Any one else seeing this on theirs? I mean it's flat, even maybe even slightly convex, curving down like the leafs are fatigued.

To help get some of the natural concave back, I'm looking at AAL, Helper Springs and just new leaf packs. Insights welcome for others that may have addressed the world famous Taco Leafs.

 

Just go new leaf pack and never look back.

 

That's normal. Even with the Dakar EL095r leaf pack they flattened out quite a bit. It wasn't until I added a leaf to the EL095r that gave it the convex shape. It's not hurting anything. TBH if your not planning on lifting leave it the way it is, you'll have a softer spring rate and a more comfortable ride.

 

I do have a lift, the 6" BDS mentioned. That includes 4" blocks on the rear.

 

I apologize, your achieving your lift by blocks, not by leaf pack. I would still leave the OEM leafs in there for the softer spring rate. Unless you plan on doing a lot of hauling or getting additional lift.

 

I would go with a burlier leaf pack to minimize axle wrap and add lift, and then drop down to a 2" or 3" block to compensate.

OME, deaver, All pro... those all make good springs for your application. The all pro standard pack will give you about 3" lift from stock if Im not mistaken, and without the harsh ride of the expedition leaf pack. Lots of guys run the Dakar pack from OME with the 3rd leaf removed for improved ride. Lots of threads to read on this! Search function is your friend!
