2010-13 small overlap better than 2014+?

    I know the 2013+ 4runners have a stronger roof than the older 5th gens, but the fact that the newer 4runners do worse on the small overlap crash test is interesting... did Toyota change the lower structure when they updated the roof strength? As far as I’m aware both tests are the same speed and overlap percentage. What gives?
