I'm not fucking around with wet and muddy trails. I did that last time I was there and it wasn't really worth it for such a brief stint up there.

If it's raining at Jambo, then I won't GAF and deal with it lol

Yea, I will just have to see how it is when we get out there on Saturday. Any trails I do, will be trails that have more rocks and are dry-ish.

I don't want to deal with cleaning all the mud and everything off the truck, but Sunday I will be stopping at the car wash in Gilmer to give it a quick wash before I drive home...

Makes it a lot easier to clean once it is home.

Traction was a pain to come buy up there when it was nothing but soup.

These guys don't know the struggle of wheeling without fender liners on big tires lol

Lol, yea, I am not looking forward to the extra cleaning...

When I was there for Mega run, it was not bad, but it also was not super dirty. Guess we will see how this goes.

I am going to see about fabbing up some form of fender liners for the rear at least.. not sure how yet, but will figure something out.

I've got a sheet of ABS plastic in the garage for that task. It's on the list, but so are so many other things. With the 4R projects coming up, I probably won't get to work on that one till after Jambo.

Yea, let me know what plastic you got and I may get the same. I was thinking either that or getting some of the rubber stuff that like Rad Rubber uses for the fender liners/covers on the front.

If that rubber was more rigid it'd work great.

I got some 1/8" thick stuff off of Amazon and it may be too thick. I wanted something beefy though that would also cut out some road noise. We'll see how well it fits and forms to the wheel wells with some heat applied to it.

Ok, I will check that out.

Yea, the rad rubber stuff is pretty thick so it is more rigid than the stock stuff.

Would also be easier to form and get where I want it to go.

Will just have to look and see what I can do about building some fender liners.

I just need some on the front to protect the headlights and then on the rear to cover the cubbies and such.

It would probably be an hour drive or so - just guessing. LaMarque is pretty far south of us - and we don't live particularly close to 45.

SO - to everyone attending Jambo...what is left on your pre-Jambo "to do" list? What are your MUST do items? - what are your "hope to do" items? We have less than a month now!!
