    OEM everything, almost.
Hi all - I believe I picked up a pair of OEM Oval nerf bars for my Tacoma.
But on all the brackets, there's this tropical skittle colored marketing on all them.
Does anyone else see this or have it on theirs?

Two parts to my question here:

    1. What is this, why is it there?
    2. Can I remove it with paint thinner? Assuming the OEM oval bars aren't painted but actually black themselves, no harm done right?

    Thanks for any input.

Bingo, but I left mine on. I prefer my friend's asking "wtf is that blue and pink paint everywhere?!"

Nail polish remover took mine off. It was hard to get to and if I had to do it again I would take them off the truck first so i don’t like i tried to commit suicide on my wrists.

Thanks guys! Just making sure I didn’t pick up some random generic things that will rust off.

Make sense and glad to hear I can remove it!
