Hey guys, so ive been looking into buying a fox suspension kit but im not so sure which kit to buy. I've looked around the forums and haven't really found the answers ive been looking for so i apologize if i sound stupid.

I want little to no lift on the car (max 1 inch lift) is it possible to adjust it without a lift kit. I dont plan on doing major off roading. Also how will the ride quality change. Will it get better or stay the same? Im not a big fan of the current OR suspension as its very bumpy and 'leans' alot while cornering.

Again im sorry if these are stupid questions. Its my first time working on a car.

Have you tried driving a sport? Their ride is suppose to be a tad firmer. If you like that ride then you can usually find a slightly used set of take offs for pretty damn cheap from people that are lifting their trucks.
Bilsteins are another cheap alternative and can be set to not give any lift.
Usually when people get Fox or other brands they are looking for a specific ride and increased ride height. You sound like you know what you want with ride quality but haven't researched the brands to see how they perform and are just picking a shock by brand name and hoping it'll fit the bill. Not trying to be demeaning in any way. Fox is a decent amount of coin for someone not looking for a lift seeing as there may be some cheaper options out there that will fit the criteria.

You will most likely get ridiculed for starting a new thread for the same questions everyone asks, so hopefully you can get some sound advice before this goes to shit.

First off I personally wouldn't spend the extra money on fox or king unless you will be off roading. But it's your money do as you please.

I recommend contacting Marie @HeadStrong Off-Road and telling her what you want and letting her work her suspension magic for you. She is extremely knowledgeable and the customer service is outstanding.

As far as most suspension lifts go they will stiffen the ride of the truck, so if you aren't a fan of the bumpy ride you may want to look at different options to soften the ride

I know king makes OEM replacement shocks for the tacoma that don't add lift and bolt right on
