awesome shocks. just how I see it, from stock/bilstein/king,fox,icon,ads etc... if your going under 15mph it all seems the same. but once you are 20mph plus then obviously you will notice if the shocks work for you or not. all I can say at above 20mph the ads seems much smoother then the 6112/5160 so yes I think its worth it as of now.

I'm no shock or suspension expert so this is all seat of MY pants review! I have ADS with remote resi and click adjuster front and rear (why not?!) with 650lb spring rate. I went with Dakar in the rear, at the time it was just the leaf pack, no "light or "heavy" or whatever they're calling it now. I didn't remove any of the leafs. I was very worried that this setup would be too stiff for me since I only routinely care about 150-200lbs in the rear at most. Oh, Total Chaos UCLs.

Had some friends on the forum here install all this at Barnwell Mountain Recreation Area (Texas) and hit the trails right after.....waaaay better than stock...obviously. Smoothed out the rough trails extremely well and allowed much better flex on the rocky/bumpy stuff. On the main roads that feed off into the trails it was very smooth, especially when compared to some of the others I have had the opportunity to ride shotgun in on the same trails. I could bomb down them at much higher speeds, as far as I was willing to push anyways, and it stayed very smooth. The true test for me was on the way home from the park. My truck in my daily driver and spends 90% of it's time on the highways and surface streets. Bottom line...I loved it! Very smooth but at the same time it didn't allow the truck to get swallowed up in road irregularity's that cause it to bottom out easily with the stock suspension. Very well mannered. Any worries about being too stiff, and having to remove a leaf or two, disappeared long before I made it home. My buddy has almost the same truck I do but has an OME setup.......holy shit does it ride stiff!

I have my ADS setup on since November and have been extremely pleased with it, couldn't be happier. Was it more expensive than some others? Sure. Worth it? Absolutely! I would definitely recommend to anyone who asks. I've never had any other brand, since this is my first truck, so I can't compare. Btw, I purchased it from Marie @HeadStrong Off-Road and she was awesome to deal with. Especially considering I asked her about this setup being too stiff about 20 different ways! Each reply was very detailed and she never once told me to go away! Hope this helps.
