    Falken Wildpeak A/T’s 285/70/17

Spider trax 1.25 spacers all the way around.

Incubus rims( unsure of offset if any) I thin they are 17x9.

    3” Tuff country lift

Trimmed the front bumper black wheel well that hung down a bit to flush with the bumper. Still rubs slightly on front and back of wheel well.

However my biggest concern is it rubbing on the sway bar end links.

I’m not sure if I need different wheels, smaller tires, more lift, better suspension, or whatever but I’ve tried everything I can think of with my knowledge (not much)

Anyone know an easy fix? Or have any ideas to why it still rubs even after going from 305’s to 285’s and adding bigger spacers?

Thanks! Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

I know there are guys on here that run no sway bar, but no chance I'd remove mine.

Pull the sway bar or swap to 255's and let all your wildest dreams come true.

For the fender rubbing you can keep cutting. I'm fairly suprised your hitting the links. Hitting the upper control arms is much more common. I (and a bunch of others) run 35/12.5s without rubbing suspension components ( I think we all rub the cab mount without a relocate). I'm would bet it's your wheel specs. 9 inches is a wide wheel. Do you know the backspacing/offset? Also any pics of where you rub?

This is gonna turn into a sway bar debate thread now lol.

Took my sway bar off and hardly noticed it's gone for 6 months now, put probably 15k miles on it too. The heavier coils on the Kings make up for it though. I wouldn't take it off if you're on stock suspension or a spacer lift.

I know a lot of Jeep guys run them that way. However won’t it handle like crap? For a daily driver? I don’t drive it daily but maybe twice a week.

Nah man, you have stiffer coils with your lift. I doubt you'll notice a difference unless you pull an Autocross maneuver.

Oh ya, and should have mentioned in my first post. I would change the thread title here. On this forum, "need help" usually means you catastrophically need help on the trail...

I can get some pictures when I get off work from the crematory.

Also I don’t know the backspacing or offset I can try and find it again but I was unsuccessful last time I tried.

I run a 9.5" wheel with a -18 offset and yes did a major cab mount chop. No issues now.

Cool, check out the inside of the wheel. It should be stamped in there somewhere. The down side is, if you find out your back spacing is too high, then your looking at new wheels to fix it..which is expensive of course.

So, speaking of that, I ran 2 inch spacers on stock wheels for a while and that fixed my issues until I got wheels with lower backspacing. A lot of guys say 2 inch wheel spacers are dangerous, but I had no problems and did plenty of light wheeling. I think if you install them right it's ok.

I feel it’s more the backspacing than anything. Could be wrong but what I found online said 4.5 backspacing and the wheel comes in 0 or 12 offset

Says 4.5 backspacing online and comes in 0 or 12 offset. So if I’ve got 1.25 spacers technically it’s 3.75 backspacing right?
