Sounds like someone has a secret they don't want to let out. That's it. OB next winter is a for sure.

Hahaha. No secret. Just busting balls. But it's gotten so crowded out there ever since the rip curl search came to town. Used to be pretty empty even on good days.

If anyone comes north, give a holla. I'd be happy to meet up and share some waves.

If they can paddle out then they’ve earned it but chances are most people won’t be able to padle out LOL

We ended up surfing all the way down to Punta Canejo. Basically used my 10' log and my CI Red Beauty the entire time. Never felt the need to use the fun shape. It was a long trip all the way to the tip, but worth it. I have a few photos of the trip in my build HERE if you want to check it out.

What time of the year are you going?

The first board I ever bought. An Infinity 5F. 6’0 x 21 x 3. 5 fin FCS setup. Haven’t surfed this thing in I don’t even know how many years. Taking her out tomorrow unless the forecast is a lie and it’s small, then I’ll be riding the 6’2 quad fish.

Hah. It’s my parents garage. But I’m sure as soon as I get my new place the garage will look just like that too

Damn that’s a bummer man. It felt good to get out again. It’d been a while since I’ve had a good surf. I can’t wait till I get a place down in HB. Be surfing every day

Hey @deadhed61 just checked out your trip photos...EPIC! Exactly the kind of trip I want to do...except take more than a week!!! That's a lot of miles. Also, I want to head out to Bahia Asuncion for some fishing, Abre...maybe Punta Eugenia. I'm looking to go sometime in May at the earliest...What length is your CI?

So just tried on some wetsuits. I liked the zipperless for the short sleeve suit, was easy to get off. The full sleeve zipperless was a bit of a struggle to get the arms off. I think I’ll stick with a chest zip. Gonna hit my friend up to see if he can get me a 3/2 flash bomb chest zip for half off now

Took a few shots at the Pier today. First 3 are north side shots, the last one is of the single fin log comp they were holding.

Yeah, we were hard pressed on time to be able to make it all the way down to Cabo and back up for the 1000. It was a good time for sure though! Planning another trip around that same time for this year, but won't be going any further south than Punta canejo. Hopefully spending most of the time bouncing around the 7 sisters.

The CI is a 6'0. It's shaped for the surf (or lack there of) in SB so it's pretty solid in everything but very steep and fast swell.

Has anyone tried Matuse wetties? I’ve been a fanboy of RipCurl forever, but I’ve read good things about Matuse.
Just wanna know about real world feedback.
