Since we are not going to Cochiti Lake, the next best would be Jemez. I'm pretty familiar with the area but don't know a lot of off-roading places. The majority of the the road I was planning on taking is unpaved and unmaintained which should give for some fun adventures. If you guys want to look it up it will be NM 485 in Jemez and we could take this road up to Fenton Lake (state park) and have our BBQ. The lake is an awsome sight and google will also have pics. It will take about 1:30-1:45 to drive up there. But probably longer because I'm sure well find a spot to wheel. My neighbor always goes up there and comes back with a couple dings so I'll ask him where a good location is at. If everybody is fine with the 16th well keep that date, otherwise state what works best for you.
