Smashing tips, missed connections, and Aldi's. This post has everything.

I startled the people eating breakfast next to me with my laughter.

    Stalking at the Post Office.

For what it's worth, I wouldn't acknowledge you as a human being either.

    I kid I kid.

I don't venture into "old" League City often, at least not through 518. 96 is much easier and quicker.

It's ridiculous how much worse the traffic is becoming on 518. 96 is going to be interesting when they (finally) start the 146 expansion.

You know better than that. The key to any successful and healthy relationship is honesty.

Hell no. The State finally won the lawsuit against the tenant of the triangular building in Seabrook maybe a month or so ago. That building has been there for something like 80 years and the tenant, a law firm, wasn't going to be forced out without a fight.

Originally the construction was supposed to end just north of 96, but the latest proposal I've seen has the expansion extending past 96 and ending at 646 or close to it. We live close to 146 and 96 and I'm not happy about the fuckery that will ensue once construction begins.

Everything 60' inland of 146 is being demolished. Seabrook set aside land off Repsdorph for the businesses that are being relocated, but you're damn right, that's still no consolation for the damage and frustration that is being wrought in the name of expansion.

I could have sworn the triangular building was occupied by a law firm, but I could be wrong. Always wondered about it though. Tookie's relocated to the old Ichiban building on the Kemah side of the bridge. Speaking of which, a second bridge is going to be constructed west of the current one and will be a bypass for commuters who wish to avoid the 7th level of Dante's hell that's known as the Kemah Boardwalk. That pit is going to be kept nice and safe since Tillman owns Kemah.
