My 2015 excess cab TRD has a wind whistle inside cab. 40 mph and higher. Tried putting tubbing inside rubber seal under hood. No luck. Determined to fix this. Want to modify truck but not till this whistle noise is fixed. Thanks for your help.

Fat Bob's lift kit, 30's on stock steelies, lunchbox locker in the rear, and a ton of other general mods and additions to help the utility of the truck for my particular uses.
I know this is going to sound crazy, but have you checked your windows to make sure they are all the way up on your access cab?

    Do you have aggressive tires?

No. No lift or tires yet. Maybe I need to clarify something. I’ve lifted multiple trucks and have always run mud radial tires. I drive a lot now and thought I would lift a Tacoma and try it out. But right now I’m frustrated with this wind whistle noise. Not a howl noise. Kinda like pulling the end of a balloon apart to let the air out and you get that whistle
    Thanks for the feed back

Welcome to TW...$100 says it’s the door seals,I had that issue on my last 2 Tacoma’s and new seals solved the problem both times.

There is a TSB on the door seals. It is covered under the 3yr 36k warranty. Tried to get mine done at the local dealer yesterday. 10 days and 2k miles past warranty, they gave me a number for corporate.

My 2014 was a little out of warranty but the dealership called corporate and they took care of it at no cost to me.
