    Yeah same remote. Just runs off your existing door locks. So anytime you hit lock, your tailgate will also lock, and anytime you unlock, well you get the idea. But I love it, and highly recommend it. I did mine myself using the Meso write up, but if you can get the dealer to do it for you that would save you the hassle.
