    I’m not a mechanic but I truly believe it did break in.. when I bought my truck I commuted about 60miles per day... so my miles went up high pretty quick... I really don’t think that changing the oil soon would damage the engine... it would damage my pocket... but again I’m not a mechanic and it’s done already...

    Where do all of you get this break in period stuff?

    Where is it in the manual?

    To my knowledge its broke in when you get it. This ain't the 60's and 70's..

    Only thing you never want to do is tow for the first few hundred.. The ring and pinions..
