Make sure you're sitting down if you ever look at their lca.

I thought my UCA were bad the LCA made me want to cry lol. But I know I'll eventually end up buying them.

    i think so.
going into my regiment tomorrow and hopefully my boss wont mind helping out, after all it was his idea to bring it in.
ive got a motorcycle jack, plus two stands and some wood that should help me keep it suspended while i maneuver around the bottom of the truck.
instructions from mobtown could use some improvement but we'll see how it goes.

Also had some really good interactions with the guys from Mobtown so props to them

"Hi Manfred. Thanks for checking out our rock sliders. Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. I saw your message earlier, but wanted to make sure I sent a diligent response to your questions. So let's get to it.

    1. Yes, we can certainly build them to any angle. But let me take a second to maybe convince you that the standard 20* angle is best. You may have noticed that difference vendors offer different standard angles. For the most part they all end up in the same place, it just depends on where we each started our tubing. In the end, we are all shooting for the same final location of the main hoop structure. So 15* standard angle from one vendor is probably functional similar to our 20* standard angle. So don't get thrown off and think that our 20* angle makes our slider higher than another vendor's 15* angle. Also, 5* doesn't change the location of the hoop that much (moves it about 3/8" lower) so it doesn't greatly improve it as a step. I would recommend you narrow your choice to either 0* or our standard 20*. I think you might be surprised how useful sliders can be even at 20* given that they stick out far enough to get a foot on. I know I use mine all the time as a step to get the kids in and out of their car seats. If you really think you want to utilize your sliders primarily for a step, I would strongly recommend skipping 15* and going straight to 0*. I spent a lot of time talking about this because due to the extra time it takes to build the sliders at a custom angle (our fixtures and batch parts are all run for 20* angles), we charge an extra $100. Also, it would be excluded from our Black Friday Sale. So take a minute and think about your goals and get back to me. I'd be happy to build them how you like, but I'd also like to see you save some money if the standard angle will work for you.

    2. Absolutely, they are Hi Lift rated. Actually, the Hi Lift test is a poor example of the strength of a slider. Really, it's the bare minimum requirement and all true sliders should easily be able to pass the Hi Lift test. There are a lot of Nerf Bars/Tube steps that masquerade as sliders and are simply not sliders. But by and large, if it's a rock slider, it can be Hi Lift from and ours are an excellent example of that.

I'd happy to answer to answer any other questions.

    Sincerely,

    Joe B."

well i had them shipped to a guy in Buffalo NY, crossed the border to pick them up. got dinged 94 bucks in taxes. So my shipping experience wasn't great to be honest. But to save like 25% off was fucking legendary

yeah man I hear you! that's why I picked up my skids when I did hahaha cant say no to 25% off!! but I didn't get them shipped, buddy I talk to on here lives right by them, and is now an ambassador for them. so he picked them up for me and we met up in Binghampton NY. a bit of a drive plus had to pay tax on the way back, but totally worth it for the savings! I will be doing the same thing when I get the sliders.

Yup, let me know! Its pretty straightforward install. Just get two axle stands and a jack to move them around. You’ll be fine.
