Hello all! I am new to Tacoma World with hopes to find help with these issues. I bought a Tacoma a few weeks ago and was back at Toyota dealership a few days after purchasing because it would not start.

Long story short there was an after market button installed that disables the starter.....
In the pics, the one I’m pointing to is the disabling button. Do any of you guys know how to delete this?

Secondly, now the door ajar light on dash is staying on after doors are shut. The dome light work as normal, comes on when door is open and goes off after door is shut but the dash light just dims when doors are shut.....

    Please help!
    Thanks in advance.

The only thing I can say in all honesty is Somebody modified the electrical system and screwed it up. Without knowing what they did or having no access to look at what was done nobody will be able to troubleshoot this with any accuracy.

If you are know about DC Circuits you may be able to figure out what was done and how to undo it. If not do you have a friend that knows about electrical circuits?
