    Hey All,

    NOOB here.

So I am about to change the oil in both diffs and the transfer case. I want to know if anyone has used 80w-90 in all three and if there have been any issues. I know that there are varying opinions and experiences regarding other oils but I can get the 80w-90 for $6.50 per quart.

I have already posted this on one of the technical threads but I am hoping to get quick feedback.

    Welcome!

I think you’ll be ok with the 80w. In the how to sticky he says he used 80w-90 due to it being readily available. However, if you can get it for not much more I’d stick with what it recommends.

My wife says I need to tackle my spending $$$ on my truck. Right I’m looking into a vinyl wrap to put on the bottom 12 to 15 inches of my truck to help reduce rock chips ... thinking flat black or maybe typhon kryptec Camo, will be going on spruce mica.
