So I watched the video of that Tacoma’s axle getting messed up. I don’t understand what happened. Can anyone explain?

Cheap u bolts with his lift block kit broke, ended up ignoring advice and left it in park.

I’m not sure about 3 gens but the 2gen front diff has a breather under the hood, so you might only need to do the rear

Why would he leave it in park?? Do you know this for sure? I find it hard to believe all those people let that happen lol

Transfer case breather should be paired with it as well.

    Stupid is as stupid does.

One of the videos was taken by Pablo and he says that they spent allot of time trying to explain how to do it but that he and his friend refused to hear it so they just enjoyed the show.

Wow.. was the dude even in the truck? After watching it I didn’t see the drivers door open after the break. Common sense is strong with this person.

And yes tcase breather is there as well, I remember thinking that was neat during my swap

I have the ARB breather on mine. The fittings that come with are the same size as the diff fitting so you won't need any extra pieces. However like others have said. The ARB is an expensive solution for just the rear diff. I was planning on tying my transfer case and front diff to the same breather until I realized they are already vented up inside the engine bay. May be a better solution to buy $20 worth of hose and fittings instead of a $70 kit with ARB branding. It does look good though

I'm pretty sure he's in the driver seat because you can see the front wheels turn. This had to have been a cheap block kit that snapped the u bolts when he was riding his brakes. This video should be saved for the next time someone recommends a block kit as an equal alternative to leaf packs
