Have that same 6 switch in my Amazon cart right now. Just havent pulled the trigger. I would try to mount it in the cubby off to the left of the steering wheel.

I find them helpful for lighting up the sides of roads and for catching upcoming turns. Mine are aimed about horizontal for more distance.

Using Baja Designs squadron sports with driving beam pattern on CBI brackets with a switchpro 8100

Just installed my ditch lights. Took me maybe an hour to do everything super easy. Used these PIAA lights off Amazon. Seemed like a good deal. They are spot lights not flood, very bright. Just used the switch they came with. (a little red circle switch) I like it, will probably just cut a circle into the cap that pops off on the left side dash.

    Using https://www.amazon.com/PIAA-26-0660...d=1523292506&sr=8-2&keywords=piaa+cube+lights

and the OCF brackets. Liked the looks of them.

    Ditch lights are sick.

setup: 2 Amazon side shooter pods (one has minor condensation), Cali raised brackets, walmart wiring harnesses. *also have an Amazon STECH harness that has yet to be installed.

The best thing I did was wire the lights independently so I could turn on one or the other...has come in handy a bunch of times most recently when helping someone change a tire in the dark...was able to just have one on, pointing at the ground so I wasnt blinding any traffic but had a light to work.

Sure! The thing is mounted to 2 aluminum bars that I shaped to fit in that cubby. The cool thing is, I can move it when I want. The mount points are wider than the cubby and keep it in place super solid without being permanent!

    Caliraised ditch lights / hardware

I run them angled somewhat down and to the sides which helps give needed coverage for the back roads I drive. Some say it doesn't look cool blah blah. Ditch lights are a dynamic setup, you can change them as needed.

Set them up for how you will be using them. I also have some on my bed rack

I'm using off camber fabrication brackets with some lights from Amazon. I have mine set up horizontal and about 30 degrees out from straight forward. My main use is to spot deer at 3 in the morning on my way to work before they destroy the front of my truck, I hit 3 in my Chevy 20170818_130244.jpg20180411_212625.jpg

-Rigid Dually Side Shooter Driving lights, brightest ones they make, and huge amount of light off to the sides!!!
-Mounts from @ragofabrication because well, they’re STAINLESS and powder coated.
-Cubby switch panel from @CaliRaisedLed great for being very inexpensive
-Switches from CH4X4, thought they looked cool. Wired to the headlights so when lights are on the switch is lit, when you turn on he ditch lights the switch gets brighter....
-Ordered the Relay bracket from @ragofabrication after the install, kinda forgot i needed one, but that should be here ASAP and that’ll clean up under the hood.

Super happy with my choices so far.

I can attest to the @CaliRaisedLed ditch lights. Just got back from a week long trip into death valley. For the price these things worked great! Easy bracket install. Easy harness install. I'm running some switches to the cubby to the left of the steering wheel like many others. The side LED on these lights easily lights up evertything all the way back to mid driver / passenger door making spotting obstacles around corners very very easy. The brackets are very Discrete so when i take the lights off between trips there isnt a huge metal appendage coming out from under my hood. Can't say enough good things about these lights after having to haul another vehicle up Goler Wash Rd in the pitch black.

I had the big cubes for ditches but they just stuck up high and didn't look right. I went to the smaller S2's and then blend in and flow much better IMO. Little less lumen output.. but I have others to make up for it.

I have the @CaliRaisedLed ditch light brackets topped with mis-matched Rigid pods (different beam patterns and amount of working LEDs :anonymous:) from a retired project. The brackets are great, I especially love the ty-rap cutouts to hold down the wire. I have CH4x4 switches inside forty2's 3D Printed 3-switch plate wired to give me the option to have no auxilliary lights, or just specific sets, or specific sets switched with HI beams. I do kind of wish CH's switches had one bump up in wire gauge but overall they are nice. I just have kinda far exterior pics but if anyone wants to see something specific lemme know.

EDIT: Oh yeah, something I didn't realize with ditch lights is how much glare I get off of the hood. Granted the truck is white and the pods are facing mostly forward. The first picture outside is after I had turned them a bit after installing them.
