Well here she is guys, a big ol POS i picked up from auction. Sweet smells of cigarette smoke, dirt, sand and a small bag of coke floats through the cab as soon as i open the door. Rear drive shaft was removed. Looks like the piece that connects to third member and driver shaft sheared off inside the third member. Hoping transmission and everything else is good. Rear brake line damaged and leaking. The front fender had a shit repair, a few pieces bent on the front end. Needs a serious paint job and interior cleaning. So im taking on this beast and we'll see where it goes

Already posted a couple threads for help identifying what my axle is since it was swapped in at some point, replacing the e locker it was supposed to have, with an lsd. So hopefully i can buy a 3rd member with a locker and drop it into this houseing. Or ill have to buy a whole complete rear axle with locker which would suck to ship to hawaii. Stay tuned.

Much to be repaired on this bad boy from cosmetics to the rear axle. Damaged 3rd member and not to mention the wrong axle. Apparently this is for a t100 lsd. Supposed to be a locking differential here. Oh boy.... lol

Pics off most of the damage so far

Alright slow progress. Finally found and shipped in the proper e locker axle for this truck. Swapped it in. Just need to hook up the e brakes. Fix a leaking brake line at the connection point on the rear between the hard and rubber lines and find a proper rear drive shaft. Not sure if mine is correct.

Cleared at the dash lights yay lol and did some cosmetic improvements.

Putting on these heavy ass wheels is hell any tips?

Great to see one being saved. Time and elbow grease already showing how sweet it will end up being. Looks like some tried to to a front end swap on it, unfortunately not very well.

So got the axle in, looking for shocks since the ones in there were for that t100 axle and i had to grind down the bushing and spacer to get them to fix. But other than that and a leaking brake line at the connection point she fits!

I had to use a 4x4 and pound on the end of the drive shaft to get it to slide in to the yoke but she went! I havnt gone above 25 mph around the block but she seems to shift and drive! I was afraid they damaged the transmission when shearing off the the flange that goes into the third member. Looks like im gonna be ok.

    Next on the list
    -fix leaking brake line
    -connect e brake lines
    -new shocks all around
-figure out what height lift i have lol
-new bumper cover and reinforcement bar
    -new tail lights
-clean the shit out of the inside
    -repaint qhen thats all done

Aired the tires up from 30 to 50 max psi is 60. Not sure what i should be running these at for street driving.

    30-35.

Max PSI is a safety posting, not a 'run close to this number' like a bicycle is. It's usually used to set the bead on the tire.

Personally I'd be looking for some 3rd gen take off wheels/tires and sell those to some other lucky fella.

Im running 40 on my single cab recommended by the shop that put my tires on, max was 50 psi. So i put 50 in these max was 65. Wonder if that will be ok

Look at the pressures in the door jamb.

Read how to do a 'chalk test' for the tread.

Start at the door jamb pressure. Go up or down (as needed by the chalk test) until you get close, then work in 1# increments.

Don't know what you are running 40 in, but I'd do the same procedure with them.

The pics dont even do justice to how dirty and filthy this interior was. I had already cleaned sone before taking these pics. The sand that was left was stuck on and boy that was fun to remove. Put a solid 6 hours of cleaning into this bad boy so far and still have a ways to go. Seats need a tom of work. Last pic you can see how well aerospace 303 does. Thats good stuff.

Engine bay was trashed and literally looks better in the pics. Air filter was completely clogged with dirt and the same with the cabin air filter. Changed thise as well.

Changed the leaking oil pan gasket, so far so good. Engine sounds much better now after the air filter and oil changes.

Next on the list, transmission drain and fill and change of the tranny filter and pan since its dented and im going in there already.

    Current issues:

Cant seem to engage 4 low. Warning beep keeps going off. Seems to be fine in 4 high. Followed the card that provides instructions to the T. Im guessing either transfer case or more likely the actuator motor for the transfer case needs replacing. Maybe someone with sien experience can chime in on this.
