Hi, I just found this forum a few days ago. We have a 2008 4x4 Access Cab 2.7L 5 speed Tacoma for a ranch truck. I'm also about to buy a 2009 double cab for my personal truck in the next month or two. I'm downsizeing from a 2002 Dodge diesel truck. Now that the diesels have all the emissions equipment on them their milage is horrible. It's time for a new truck, and I'm going with the Tacoma. I've been impressed with the Tacoma since we got one for a ranch truck in October 2007. I've already found alot of info on this site. I removed the secondary air filter on the 2.7 a couple of hours ago!

They really do. With the discounts dealerships are giving on diesel trucks, I could literally get a $45,000 truck for the same price as a Tacoma, but I'd rather have the Toyota.
