It utilizes the 2TR port shape entirely

Cool, so does the gasket and 3RZ port of the SC just kinda sit on the edge or is there an extra lip for it.

I just wondered how mmuch overlap there is since the 2TR port is larger than the 3RZ port. I know what the SC flange looks like, since you said you're using the 2TR port all the way through I figured that would leave less mating surface on the 3RZ side for the gasket and SC manifold to sit on...

Looks the opposite of that to me. Also, looks like the gasket sits nicely on the 2TR surface.

Ahh, okay then. I would have never thought the 2TR would have smaller ports. Cool, that'll make it real easy. Only other thing that looks like it might throw a small wrench in is the belts on the 2TR look like they have an extra rib or two and are farther out. So cool to see this materializing.

Yeah, so the 2TR uses a 7-rib- I assumed @Silver_Back already figured out a pulley swap

Hopefully one of the URD ones can be made to work. 7 rib has much less chance of belt slip which would be a major plus.

Up until I found a 3RZ TRD charger for a decent price I had been as well for the 3RZ. I was going to adapt a Previa supercharger to it. They're 1.45L per rotation, way more than the little M62. But I had to get the 3RZ charger when I saw the price.

    A thing or two...
Since the holes for the 3rz flange don't go all the way through, I'm assuming they're threaded for studs?

I was going to buy an intake spacer but I’m definitely buying one of these adapters once the fitment is hashed out, you guys are the shit and I salute you.

There are multiple solutions to the pulley swap but the best course of action is to first mount the SC and then measure the variance with respect to the belt alignment.
Let's not get to far ahead of ourselves. The adapter comes first. Then corrections to the prototype and finally addressing the pulley and support of the SC concerns.

    05Taco4x4,

Did you find time to get a quote from the machine shop for the first prototype?

I'm eager to see how it works out. Super easy to support it by the way, it just uses a single stud that you should be able to brace to your engine mount. I think I remember seeing your truck around Spokompton. I just moved away from Eastern WA a couple months ago.

    Tacoma community,

05Taco4x4 and I have good news. The first prototype has been sent to the machine shop for fabrication. The lead time is approximately 2-3 weeks. Once complete, we will test fit with the templates and finally on the vehicle. There will be delay between the two test as 05Taco4x4 and I are in two different locations. He is utilizing his local resources for production and offered to test fit with the templates. If it passes his quality control then he'll ship it to me for test fitting on the truck.
