SpartanXCustoms Hood Scoop Spotlight, MESO's "The Gasshole" Fuel Cap Holder, Ultimate Map and Dome lights (red), Total Tail (Stage 2), Ultimate 3rd Brake Light (BD-4), Ultimate Turn Signals. OPT7 Interior lighting kit, OEM Predator Tube Steps, Custom Shift Knob by me, Custom "Start-Up" and "Screen Off" images by a friend.
So, I’ve decided that since I’m basically cosplaying my new truck, I should add it to my cosplay page. But if I’m gonna do that, I’ve gotta name it. And since I’m turning it into a ride fit for Red Hood, the first thing that came to mind was Red Hood and The Outlaws. So let me be the first to introduce you to “The Outlaw”!

I wanted to build something that looked great out of costume, but also would fit into my cosplay work. I’m not really the best at making costumes, but building a truck is something totally within my wheelhouse. And I wanted to make something visual and mobile so that my group can go to parades and such. (a lot of the costumes are not easy to move in) And when we get to go do a Make-A-Wish visit, a hospital visit, or just setting up at a school or charity event, I have something cool for them to see and touch. Something they can climb in the back of and take pictures. Something that makes the good memory of that day stand out a bit more for them. Because that’s what it’s all about.

It’s going to be a long work in progress, but I’m going for a feel of a Gotham City Assault Vehicle. Red Hood’s Batmobile that he MAY have borrowed from WayneTech. And oh the plans I have. Lucius Fox might be the gadget guy. But I know how to give something attitude. ;)

There are many more phases to come and I’ll keep everyone updated as the build continues. Oh, the fun we’ll have. ;)

    Phase 1 (
Hidden Spotlight in the Hood Scoop, Plasti-Dip Front Accents and Floorboard lighting[Front and Back]): Completed

Credit to SpartanXCustoms for the hood scoop light as well as his custom switch to operate it. Find him on Instagram @spartanxcustoms
The lighting kit is an Opt7 Internal lighting kit. You can find it on Amazon.
And a big thanks to Titan Motoring in Nashville, TN for helping me install the solid state relay I needed to get it working like I wanted it to.

    Phase 2 (
Creating a Custom Shift Knob and Designing Screen Images): Completed

A huge thank you to 7r41lbr34k3r for making the plastic connector that I was able to screw into the bottom of the flight stick. It both held it together at the bottom as well as allowed me to connect my shifter to the factory boot connector.

Phase 3 (Finish Off The Interior Lighting): Got @mesojdm's amazing Ultimate Map Lights (Red) and Ultimate Dome Light installed. Changed out the OEM vanity lights with cool white LED's from Amazon. Just in case I need white light for something, my visors are basically directional spotlights now.

Phase 4 (Replacing Exterior Bulbs and housings): I hit Spartan X Customs up again for his replacement LED bulbs for my high, low, and fog lights. Then was able to get my hands on Meso's Ultimate Mirror Turn Signals, Ultimate Tail Lights, and Ultimate 3rd Brake Light (BD4). Hit up user memario1214 to get my hands on Baja Designs Rock Lights to drop into it. Replaced the license plate lights with LED's from Amazon as well. Which pretty much finishes out my lighting plan, exterior and interior.

Phase 5 (Currently in progress): Trying to find someone local to tint my windows red. It hasn't gone well though. I'll either find someone eventually or learn to do it myself.

    Various other modifications: Completed
    OME Predator Tube Steps
mesojdm's "The Gasshole" Fuel Cap Holder
