I've had it happen to me before. I had the next door neighbor's box at my front door (and vice versa). Definitely worth knocking on a few doors to find out.

I'm feeling kind of stupid right now. I put the wires into the h11 socket connector as far in as I could, but the pins aren't connecting when I plug it in. I even tried pulling the pins further out with pliers. Still having a hard time making a connection. Am I doing something wrong? Right now, I'm just running the wires into the plug with electrical tape without the socket connector. Anyone else having this problem?

Are the pins not staying in place when you connect the H11 harness together (meaning, the pins keep pushing back a bit when you connect the harness so that you have to pull them back out each time)? If so, then try turning the pins around without swapping which side they are on. They should make a soft click so that they lock into place...at which point, they become a PITA to get the pins back out if you accidently reversed the pos & neg pins.

    Hope that helps

If the wires aren't in the connectors correctly (black and red on the correct sides, not talking how far they are pushed in) when they plug into the OEM sockets it won't work and you need to flip the wires. Problem is they are probably stuck in the connectors and now you can't get them back out? This same thing happened to me and I had to buy new plastic connectors and you have to make sure they are correct before you put them into the provided connector.

Thanks, they are not clicking into place! I pushed them in as far and hard as I can and they won't click. Maybe I just need even more force.

I wouldn't go too crazy, those metal pieces on the end are bendy with pressure and you could break them. Look at how you are lining them up into the socet. They need to put at a certain angle and they click right in.

What I was doing wrong was I was putting the wires into the socket based on the diagram in the instructions. What I should have done was actually eyeball and make sure it was going in the right way. Thanks for all of your help everyone. Had a real brain fart moment there. Now to wait until night so I can calibrate. Here are some pictures in the meantime!

Nice looking truck! And I have yet to do a project Where I haven’t messed something up. Still have to aim mine too, been too cold at night around here to bother though.

I was following the diagram on the left and it didn't click. That puzzled me and I didn't want to mess things up. So I came to this thread and from everyone's advice I just flipped it around today and everything worked out.

Thanks! I have always wanted TE37s since I was a teenager. They're like the OG wheels to me. Never imagined I'd be putting them on a truck.

1st side took about 25 minutes, I was figuring out how everything pieced together (I didn’t read the instructions). Once I figured it out the 2nd side took 2 minutes. Very easy install:
