So with all the talk about Data Mining lately is that data to discover patterns and trends that go beyond simple analysis being used here on TW or ensure meaningful data mining results?

if you agreed to the terms of membership when you join any web page or contract, then you agree to whatever way they might do with the info that you provide, selling or using the info is how they make money.

Even know we sign and check boxes in our lives it seems on a daily basis would we be able to survive otherwise at the hands of others requiring us to do this?

 

Here's an over simplification...

It is essentially about advertisers seeking access to DNS records that are tied to your computer and what sites you tend to visit on that computer. For example, I visit RealTruck.com, Toyota.com, and WinJetInc.com looking for tail lights. Then, I decide to go to Facebook.com to catchup and make jokes with friends or visit miniclip.com to kill some time playing games. Guess what, you're gonna see ads from RealTruck, Toyota, and WinJet on the sides of your pages from Facebook and MiniClip. Facebook and MiniClip are accessing the cookies dropped on your computer from RealTruck, Toyota, and WinJet. Advertisers want to go even further and access records about your website history from your Internet Provider ( ISP ). That means that anyone who uses your computer will see ads from RealTruck, Toyota, and WinJet. Where you visit is considered private information much in the way that nobody can legally stalk you in order to document what stores you visit each day in order to sell you something.

So, with that in mind, just think what will happen if someone in your house is visiting porn sites everyday?

Very understandable but at what point is enough? Once we understand this, it puts things into perspective. You could drive a semi-truck through the loopholes and dangers....

they only can control you if u have you nose stuck in your I Phone 24/7 if you turn it off once in awhile they wont control anything

 

I don't really think any of us have a clue what they are doing with it do you?

 

And do you really think that is happening with the way people have been sucked in with tech controlling so much?
