I bought a 2014 DCLB a week and a half ago. The PO modded a number of things that made the truck a must buy. It has a Leer contractor shell with no windows, and a Pelfrey tire carrier. Due to the tire carrier, it appears that he removed the rear facing camera, and since I have no rear view at all (mirror is off with a fridge monitor in it's place), I want to buy a rear camera and mount it to the tire carrier with the Pelfrey kit.

I'm trying to determine if the PO removed the wiring for the rear facing camera. Under the truck, there is a gray socket on the passengers side with nothing plugged in, and I don't see a wire loom running on the bottom of the tailgate, so I'm trying to assess what I need to get this resolved.

-I'm needing a camera, so should I just go OEM, or buy an aftermarket?
    -I may need the wiring
-I would like a plug or replacement handle for the tailgate to close up the gap from the missing camera

Anyone know where the camera connects?

Nevermind!! I found a plethora of threads with pics.

Much like Ih8Mud for my 80 series, it seems all of the answers are already here.

I'll have to find something else to talk about ;)
