Equal length FTW! At least if you pair it with an equal length y-pipe of specific length. Then it becomes an equal length extension of the headers.
It's not all about peak #s, but the hp/tq that occurs below......where we live day to day.:D:burnrubber::D

Traded the 2015 TRD Pro 6spd Supercharged on a PowerWagon and could not be happier. My 2011 Tacoma with the TX Baja package (Added by me) is still treating me great. My 1985 Toyota never skips a beat.
So, reading back from the begining. Gonna take half my life here.

-people are having problems with the Ucon?

@GT7 is the only one I know of for sure that's having some issues. But he said he removed the UCON and the rig is still not right. So not sure if it was his UCON or something else.

As with anything. Mine was a little wonky at first release. But they made some changes to the tune and its been solid since then.

So, I have been putting of spending more money on mods. And probably still will for awhile.

My truck's only got about 25k on the blower (about 30k on truck) with the TRD tune all stock and TRD exhaust.

This mug runs super rich, and for the last year of it sits over night when it gets cool it has what appears to be blue smoke in the morning. It always has black fuel smoke. I have not notinced any oil use, but I suspect it is burning a little.

I have a catch can, that I still have not installed. I plan to pul my intercooler and clean it, and until now I figure my lack of a catch can was putting just enough oil in the system to see it in the morning after drippibg from the intercooler or whatever.

Long story short, after seeing just how pig rich some of you guys are (9's with a smaller pulley wtf) on the TRD tune, and knowing my gas mileage (lifetime average at 11.5 mpg) I have a concern that the oil is it fueling so much it is washing the cylinders. I need to get a bore scope out and pull a plug to look.

I hope that this is not a reality, and just a worthless worry. But fuck.

Anyway I am out of town, I will not be checking until I get home.

And my Toyota care free headaches ran out right before I left town soooo...

Yeah the rig is actually running good now after the ucon left my truck stranded. Removed ucon and issue magically gone.

Now on the trd reflash I get P219A and p0300. P0300 is common but truck is smooth and doesnt feel like it misses. This was the same as the ucon. P219A comes every 40-60 miles. Same as the ucon.

I got these codes only after my initial ucon install. I finally decided to remove the ucon because the truck had an extremely rough idle and would make horrible noises. Also missing on cylinder 4 and 6 if I let the engine run this way. Removed ucon and it idles beautifully every time.

That is good, I mean that it is not wide spread.

I have been planning on UCON for a long time. 2010 actually lol, but i didn't settle on my truck and do the blower until 15, and then it was not available. Now i get back on here and OV Tune is doing wizard shit, UCON is available and I have 1 million projects lol.

My TRD tune wasn't too bad. AFR was high 10's to low 11's at WOT if I remember correctly. I've read that the TRD tune varies from truck to truck.

I thought my MPG was low at 12.5

12.5 is about what I get daily mix, I tow a lot so my lifetime is pretty horrid.

Best tank ever was 18 even, and worst tank was 5. I track it on fuelly for shits and giggles.

I have to try really hard to get near 14 mpg empty, and I don't have it in me lol.

Opposite of my Corolla. That had the 5th injector and the smallest pulley, boost refferenced regulator and some other stuff. It was on the ragged edge abd would see around 12 at WOT on 93. I suspect I got some bad gas when I popped it, but I was not watching it at the time.

I had heat soak problems too, and would hit north of 12.5 lbs, so it could have been a number of things that caused it. Destroyed the top of 2 pistons the ring lands came apart. Oddly enough it ran and idled normal, just sounded like a wrist pin knock and low power.

    Another question...

I emailed Gadget Sat and he never responded.

I have the 70mm TB adapter from URD, and the 70mm TB from @mach1man001 on the way.

Do I need anything else? It’s plug and play, correct?

The bolts for the 7th inj spacer will be long enough to bolt the adapter on?

    Thank you.

Probably, I had boost surge? Issues on my TRD boosted 1ZZ and removed that as part of the fix on it. I did not know it was a mod, or what the hell it was called though back then.

I had invonsistent boost 10-13 lbs, thought the bypass was bad and pulled that little brass piece out. Went away and I was back to consistent 12.5

To mount the 7th injector plus TB adapter you need (qty 8) M6 x 1.0 x 50mm hex head cap screws.

Like the ones that came with the 7th, but 50mm long.

    04CD66AD-A38A-45FC-8E1E-60BC5C6E144C.jpg

You also need to make a gasket where the throttle body meets the adapter. You can use silicone like @Torspd suggested or you can cut one out of some gasket paper like I did. I used an Xacto knife for the overall shape and a hole punch for the bolt holes.

    469DBF87-C874-4BB4-8143-45FDDA866B08.jpg

First, insert 4 bolts through the adapter, through the 7th and screw them into the blower. Second, insert remaining 4 bolts through the throttle body, through the gasket and screw them into the adapter.

    End result is: (4) bolts > throttle body > gasket > (4) bolts > adapter > 7th injector > blower.

    CDD9766E-21C8-40DD-AEE6-DD1863BD280D.jpg

EDIT: Also, the coolant lines to the throttle body will be too short. I extended mine a little so the bends weren’t so tight. One of the nipples on the thermostat housing was also too close to the throttle body, so I cut 1/4” inch off of it so the hose could bend sooner. It’ll make more sense once you get it all in there.

I made a TB gasket out of a piece of material from autoparts store. Not sure it was required and It's not perfect but it works. Similar to this - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000BWCEYM/ref=s9_dcacsd_dcoop_bw_c_x_3_w

Of all the supercharger threads. This one has been the best so far!

I am learning a lot, or solidifying that which I learned the hard way in the past!

Good bunch of dudes in here!
