@Blk14prerunner thanks for your input! I think I’m gonna have to explore going the powder coating route, i don’t think just the paint will be enough for New England winters. I don’t mind the sound as much, i just got out of a Titan that was mad loud with 3.5” double exhaust pipes... i also noticed a little bit of s loss in initial torque take off, but nothing major. How was the fit and install? Simple? Also wondering if all the hardware (clamps screws) are quality and left no leaks.

@07taco wow just saw that... that’s some pretty serious shit! So all that is is essentially a computer upgrading the system? That’s pretty amazing. Are you tackling that on your own or you got some help?

Install was no problem. Removing the stock exhaust was a challenge due to the cold temps making the hangers impossible. Once I got the heat gun out it got alot easier. Hardware was good and I haven't noticed any leaks.

@Blk14prerunner ok good to know. I’ll wait till the temp firms up a bit before i tackle that project. Spring apparently wasn’t informed it’s supposed to be here and we’re dealing with mid 30’s temps still.

Here’s that exhaust on my truck. I love it. Perfect tone. Only drone is like what someone else said when it searches for gears on the interstate. Otherwise it isn’t bad

@Brostjoe i think that’s normal. I went from stock to aftermarket on my Titan and had loss of power too. In that case i went from 1.75 single exhaust to a 2.5” double. Idk what the stock size of the exhaust is on the Tacoma, but this MBRP is 3”, so if the aftermarket is bigger than the stock you normally experience a slight loss of power.
