I follow filthy motorspots on Instagram and apparently King is going to raise the price of their shocks. Has anyone heard about this? I planned on going the King route but not sure now.

Have been going back and forth on a suspension, but I am not quite there yet, just need to save a little bit more money. Which is a bummer now, if this price increase is true. I'll probably end up going with ADS if King prices do go up...

Ha, me too. But I'm holding tight. I don't want to over extend myself, so I still need to save just a little more. I've been putting King setups into my cart on various sites for like a month already :frusty:

If you prefer the handling of a digressive shock, perhaps research ICONs? Bij at ToyTecLifts will hook you up.

Don't take this as being ass, but if someone is interested in buying Kings (which are progressive), I seriously doubt they prefer digressive valved shocks such as Icon.

I suppose anything is possible though. Some folks have the cash, or are dumb enought, to buy whatever is trending with little regard to technical/practical factors.

Not trying to derail this thread, but why would somebody choose one over the other? digressive vs progressive?

First off, I am not an expert. And there are some really good resources in the Suspension threads, or just via Google.

In short, Digressive valving will result in a more firm ride at slow speeds and will soften as speeds increase whereas Progressive will be more forgiving/softer at slower speeds and firms up as speeds increase.

Again, I am not an expert and this is only my personal take on the data/threads I've read. I fully admit I may be somewhat or completely wrong, and there is probably a lot more to the differences that I did not mention.
